Presentation from the meeting February 17, 2026 -> information about the thesis, finding a supervisor, confirmation/submission of the thesis in InSIS, conditions for the course 22F502 Master´sthesis seminar.

Important information:
1. you can submit your thesis for a defence in the semester following the semester in which you have taken & passed the Master´s thesis seminar
2. there is no possibility to hide the master thesis or its part according to the Higher Education Act
- Settle your topic for the master thesis (where to find and how to register the topic)
Choose from these Departments of the Faculty of International Relations (FIR):
-> Department of International Business (KMP)
-> Department of International and Economic Relations (KMEV)
-> Department of Business and European Law (KPEP)

General rules & recommendation for the Diploma thesis seminar and writing the master thesis 2025/2026:

1. Master´s Thesis Seminar FMV 22F502 – check & study sections and the documents in the Moodle
Study all sections of the course!
Don´t miss the deadlines
– Deadline October 26, 2025 => Literature review
– Deadline January 16, 2026= if your supervisor doesn´t set a different date!!! => Thesis theoretical framework
IMPORTANT:
=> you have to follow the requirements after submission the required tast the other chapters are open for you!
=> meet deadlines to avoid any problems!
=> study carefully each part of the Moodle course
=> Make sure you post and respond in the right seminar group.
2. Cooperate with your supervisor & check conditions/requirements of the course to complete it successfully
– Follow the instructions of your supervisor
– Fulfil all obligations of the course
– Meet the given deadlines for requested tasks!
– Be in touch via consultation hours, or at schedule meetings, presetnations etc.
– Make a schedule for the cooperation and delivery of all requirements
3. Work on your thesis continuously
4. Cooperation with the supervisor in the semester folowing the Master´s thesis seminar – email, consulting in person/online. Check your time, agree deadlines for delivery of your work for checking by your supervisor. Be careful – deadline for submission is the day you have to have all work completed, the thesis approved for submission by your supervisor.
