Tuition fee and study grants

Tuition fee

EUR 3,600 per academic year (see the bank details in the admission requirements part).

The tuition fee must be paid in the beginning of the academic year. The student receives a decision of a payment of the tuition fee usually in September when the academic year starts, the due date is announced in the decision. The University of Economics, Prague reserves its right to request a payment of the tuition fee for the first semester before issuing the confirmation of study acceptance for visa purposes.

Administration fee

EUR 50/CZK 1350 - payment conditions are described in the e-application, payment section. More information at the IB web/section "How to apply".

Study grants

Other student grants are not provided by the university. Students could apply for other grants, e.g. at the Visegrad Fund http://www.visegradfund.org/.

Postgrad Solutions gives away bursaries to help students fund their studies! We are the partner of this portal you, therefore the IB students have a right to apply for one of these bursaries - funding for the forthcoming year (from September 2017) is due to close on 14th September, 2017.

If you are starting a postgraduate course in the academic year 2017-18 you are eligible to apply for a Postgrad Solutions Study Bursary.

Students having applied for the governmental grant at the Czech Ministry of Education could not use this grant for studying any study program with tuition fee within in the Czech Republic.

Students who take part at the double degree program at one of the partner universities (in Lyon, Mainz, Innsbruck, Växjö, Vaasa, Warsaw or Geneva) will receive a financial support for one semester according to the valid rules of the University of Economics, Prague.
